Seat plans market attack

Seat Ireland is undertaking an aggressive marketing programme to grow the brand here, with a refined model range and a strong value offer, writes Brian Byrne.

The brand will offer improvements in its pricing by between 5-15 percent across its range, through lowered prices or increased specification.

A number of new finance packages are to rolled out for the 2013 buying period, backed by Volkswagen Bank.

New model launches between now and the end of 2012 include the Ibiza, Mii, Toledo and Leon.

The company also plans to increase its dealer number from 18 to 28 by 2015. As part of this, new dealers in Limerick, Galway, Westmeath and Dublin will be announced in coming weeks.
