Audi Ireland sees huge growth

Year to date, Audi Ireland has surpassed its total sales figure for the whole of last year, recording sales growth of 9.2 percent so far this year maintaining its position as the number one premium automotive brand in this country.

Audi has achieved a national market share of 5.5 per cent for the month of August.

It is the fastest growing brand here. This is also the case across almost every country in Western Europe.

At the launch of the Audi A3 in Killarney at the weekend, Andrew Doyle, managing director of Audi Ireland said: "We have maintained this growth by offering unrivalled service, the right value proposition and an impressive product line-up."

He said there is strong demand for Audi A6, A1 and A4 models, and that Audi Finance has experienced record lending rates with over 80 per cent acceptance rate.

Mr Doyle also predicted that Audi Ireland will finish this year '10 per cent up in a market possibly 11 per cent down, with 3,700 units'. "We will finish the year with about 4.7 per cent market share," he suggested.

He said by 2015 Audi expect to be the world's top luxury premium brand.
