No fewer than four new Fiat Group vehicles will make their public debuts at the 2012 National Ploughing Championships being held at Heathpark, New Ross, Co Wexford from 25-27 September.
These new vehicles, never seen before in Ireland, are the Jeep Grand Cherokee Commercial (pictured above); the Jeep Compass Commercial (left); the Fiat Doblo Cargo Combi, and the Fiat Florino Adventure.
The commercial versions of the Jeep Compass 2.2 CRD 4x4 Limited, and Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 V6 Limited are expected to garner significan interest at this year's National Ploughing Championship. The previous Jeep commercial vehicles proved very popular with the Irish farming community.
The Doblo Cargo Combi (pictured right) should also prove a popular attraction combining vast interior space and huge practicality of a five-seat Doblo people-carrier, it is eligible for a lower rate of VRT (13.3 percent) as well as commercial road tax and a full VAT rebate for registered business customers.
The Fiat Florino Adventure (left) will interest rural business users with its standard mud-and-snow tyres, protective plastic mouldings, engine sump guard and raised suspension.
Pricing and technical specifications for all the new commercial vehicles will be announced at the National Ploughing Championship and they will be available from November.
The full 2013 range of Jeep and Fiat Commercial vehicles will be on view on Stand 627, Row S, Block 3 at the Ploughing.
