Peugeot improves HYbrid4 performance

Peugeot has improved the already low emissions of its diesel-hybrid 3008 HYbrid4, and now the CO2 of the MPV is rated at 91g/km, writes Brian Byrne.

Fuel consumption is now presented at the equivalent of almost 81mpg on the combined cycle.

The improvements were made in new management software for the hybrid system, and the better performance is most evident in urban driving.

The benefits will also be seen in other HYbrid4 models from Peugeot, including the 508RXH and the 508 HYbrid4.
