With the small and compact SUV segments showing significant market share growth in Europe and other markets, it's quite likely that Volkswagen will build a small SUV, writes Brian Byrne.The strongest hint yet came this week with the Taigun Concept revealed at the Sao Paulo Motor Show.
The 4-seat car is built on the same architecture as that used for the up! and the Concept's power unit is a 110hp 3-cylinder 1.0 turbocharged petrol engine.
At 3.86m long, it doesn't take up much road space, but the 2.47m wheelbase provides good interior space for occupants.
