Carculator.ie shows how much your car costs to run

Motorcheck.ie, in association with Renault Ireland, has launched 'Carculator.ie' website that allows users estimate the running costs of their current car for comparison against an equivalent model in Renault's 2013 product range.

'Carculator.ie' is a fun and easy-to-use website that takes your current car and, together with your annual mileage estimates its runnign costs for 2013. Tax, fuel, routine servicing, tyre costs repairs and NCT costs are all calculated for you in one place so that you can see just how much your current motor is costing you.

It then gives you some options from the new Renault range and shows you how you can save money per annum, including lowest tax rates, lower fuel costs, warranty included and low servicing costs. Calculating the cost of ownership makes for some interesting reading for car owners.

Once the running costs have been identified, a favourable comparison with an equivalent model from the Renault range would illustrate just how economical and inexpensive to run their new cars are and encourage users of the service to book a test drive.
