Nissan in the Pink supporting Breast Cancer Ireland

The Nissan Micra has launched Pink Week which runs from tomorrow 16 November to Saturday 24 November. This is an initiative to raise funds for Breast Cancer Ireland and their pioneering research programmes.

If you want to help the cause, then pop into your local Nissan dealer during the week and request a Nissan Micra test drive, or log onto www.nissanmicrapinkweek.com to book a test drive at a time that suits you and Nissan Ireland will make a €50 donation to the charity.

Four specially pink wrapped Nissan Micra's will tour the country during the week to be an eye-catching reminder of the fundraising activity.

2013 will be the 30th Anniversary of the Micra, one of Ireland's most loved cars; just short of 100,000 Micras have been sold in Ireland since its launch in 1983.

Jeanne McGann, Head of Marketing and Communications, Nissan Ireland says "To celebrate the success of the car and to mark the occasion, Nissan has decided to give something back and is joining the drive for Breast Cancer Research by supporting Breast Cancer Ireland."
