New Note detailed

This is the new Nissan Note, which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month and goes on sale in the autumn in a number of European markets, writes Brian Byrne.

The car is based on the Invitation Concept shown at the last Geneva event, and will be built in Sunderland in the UK.

Fuel efficiencies will be based on CO2 emissions from 95g/km. The engines range include two new 1.2 3-cylinder petrol units and a re-engineered 1.5 diesel.

A suite of new safety technologies will be offered under the banner Nissan Safety Shield, and will include the 'helicopter view' outside camera system.
