Bluetooth will be standard on Volvos

Safer calls on all VolvosFrom Model Year 2014 onwards, Bluetooth will be part of the standard equipment across all Volvo Cars here.

This feature is part of the High Performance Audio system on all models (excluding the XC90) which includes USB connectivity, AUX-input, eight speakers and steering wheel audio controls.

Bluetooth technology allows safe hands-free phone calls while driving.

The High Performance Audio system provides USB audio connection for iPod, iPhone and USB 2.0 memory sticks. The audio streaming and USB capability allows the driver to play music through the High Performance Audio system, and the driver can control the music selection through the use of the steering wheel controls.

This allows customers to upgrade to a 7-inch display screen for a small additional cost. The High Performance Audio system normally retails at €500-€952 (depends on the version).
