In a commentary noting the performance of the Bank since it opened for business here, the company says it also provided €1.5bn in financing to dealerships.
€125m of the consumer loans were provided in 2012, and the Bank now finances 25 percent of all car loans across the brands in Volkswagen Group Ireland.
