First up is the new Micra DIG-S (pictured above) which builds on the existing Micra that recently celebrated a landmark 30th year in the Irish marketplace.
It comes fitted with a Direct Injection Gasoline Supercharged 1.2 engine, has reduced emissions from 115g/km C02 to 99g/km while power increases to 98hp, up from 80hp. This version is priced at €15,095.
The Juke N-Tec is offered with three engines, 1.5 diesel, 1.6 petrol and 1.6 DIG-T at the top of the range. This version offers the latest Nissan Connect navigation system which incorporates features including up to date weather forecasts and flight information. Safety features include a motorway 'exist view' complete with lane guidance to help when leaving highways. There's also a reversing camera, front fog lights, leather trimmed steering wheel and gear level knob, automatic climate control and audio with Bluetooth compatibility and USB port. The Qashqai range has also been upgraded. The SV has been improved to the SV+ with 18-inch alloys and silver roof rails as standard. prices start from €25,245 which is €800 less than the SV model it replaces. The new Qashqai 360 boasts Around View Monitor, an advanced camera system that gives the driver a 360 degree bird's eye view of their parking area. Standard equipment includes a panoramic glass roof, piano black roof rails and privacy glass. Prices start from €26,745.
Nissan will launch a range of new sports models, starting with the Juke Nismo with a 1.6 DIF-T engine developing 200hp. It is available in manual 2WD and All Mode 4x4i CVT. The 2WD can go from 0-100km/h in 7.8 seconds. Nismo delivers high performance without high fuel consumption. Pricing for the 2WD is set at €29,675 and €33,375 for the All Mode 4x4i.
