Mazda cars showcased at Bloom

Richard Molloy
Mazda are showcasing their latest generation of cars with SkyActiv Technology over this Bank Holiday weekend at the Bloom festival in the Phoenix Park, writes Trish Whelan.

This technology is designed to improve efficiency in their cars.

The Mazda Motor Ireland stand is on the left as you enter the showgrounds, just outside the Floral Marquee which they are sponsoring as well as providing a number of cars for use at the show.

The highlight there is the new Mazda6, and Richard Molloy - Director Marketing & PR at Mazda Motor Ireland - yesterday reported huge interest in the car from what seemed a record attendance at the show. The team will be happy to explain this new technology if you call to the stand. The Mazda CX-5 is showcased in a Japanese-inspired garden feature. Both cars on display are best in class for fuel efficiency and low C02 emissions.

The show continues today, Bank Holiday Monday.
