Des will replace George Harbourne as Managing Director, when George retires this August.
Des joined Gowan Distributors in 2008 as Commercial Manager and brings a wealth of expertise and experience in all aspects of the motor industry to his new role.
Prior to joining Gowan Distributors, Des had a well-established career in the motor industry working with Hyundai Cars Ireland, as well as spending some time working in Motor Retail.
Des has a motto in life: "I am a firm believer that you make your own luck in life and the harder you work, the luckier you get!"
