Student gets 100,000th Nissan-Renault EV

An American graduate student in Atlanta, Georgia, has taken delivery of the 100,000th electric car from the Nissan-Renault partnership, writes Brian Byrne.

The car is a Nissan Leaf and is driven each day by Allison Howard to Kennesaw State University.

More than 71,000 units of the Leaf have been sold, some 30,000 of them in the US, 28,000 in Japan and 12,000 in Europe.
