Ford has had to increase production for its ST high-powered variant of the Fiesta because it has received twice as many orders as expected, writes Brian Byrne.
More than 3,000 orders have been placed in the UK alone, representing around a third of all orders across Europe.
The company says it's now building 60 units a day to keep up with demand.
