Mazda Ireland has posted their strongest peak month volume in over two years, writes Trish Whelan.

In the new July registration period, Mazda achieved a 2.4 percent market share - a 291 percent Year on Year volume growth.

Mazda say this is based on the sales of the sixth generation of products, the all-new Mazda6 and the CX-5.

According to Tony Howarth, Managing Director, Mazda Motor Ireland 'feedback from dealers reveals that the new cars are attracting many more conquest sales to the brand than in recent years'.

The Mazda6, available in Saloon and Sports Tourer body styles, retails from €28,745, while the CX-5 is offered from €28,895.
