Think Blue is a global initiative by Volkswagen to create environmentally friendly products and solutions, encourage more eco-conscious behaviour and contribute to a sustainable future. It's about being more responsible on the road and more environmentally conscious - not just in our cars, but everywhere, every day. Since its introduction in 2010, there have been more than 360 projects in over 35 countries.
The Championships are an international event taking place from 6th to 10th September 2013 in Germany, designed as a car rally that takes the contestants along a given route from the VW capital Wolfsburg to Frankfurt. They will also take part in different actions related to fuel-efficient driving, e-mobility or ecological sustainability in everyday life.
Volkswagen Ireland want to send two people to the four-day event. A visit to the Frankfurt International Motor Show is planned.
