This means that the estate is now rated the same as the five-door Leon.
Leon achieved 94 percent in accident safety, and 92 percent for child safety.
They also received two Euro NCAP Advanced rewards for their multi-collision brake system and for their lane-keeping assistant in the new Leon. The certificates were presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The new Leon comes to Ireland later this year in time for the 141 plate and will be priced from €19,995.
