The pair finished in 18th position in their category with a total of 48 points. The competition took place in early October and was won by Team South Africa (Group Net A) and Team Guatemala (Group Net B).
Hehir (20 handicap of 20 and pictured right) and Barrett (playing off 16) had booked their place in Los Angeles by beating 41 other teams in the Irish final held in Mount Juliet Golf Club on 28 August.
