Qoros to expand range before Europe-wide launch

The first Chinese car to achieve a 5-star ENCAP rating won't go on general sale in Europe until the new Qoros brand has a greater range of models, writes Brian Byrne.

The Qoros 3 Sedan is currently on sale in China, and in Slovakia since September. A new hatchback version of the compact car will be unveiled at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

The company is a joint Chinese-Israeli venture, and says it will establish a network of dealers in Europe and add further models before launching further across the Continent.
