BMW revises X3
BMW will put a revised X3 on sale in the summer, with subtle exterior changes and significantly enhanced powertrains, writes Brian Byrne.
New headlights and front bumpers are the main changes outside, which increase the length of the car by a centimetre, while the interiors have new detailing and textile colours.
Power options run from 150-313hp in 2.0 and 3.0 diesels, with CO2 emissions ranging 131-157g/km. The entry X3 sDrive 18d has 2WD, while all others have the 4WD xDrive system.
An optional specification package provides, among other things, a similar 'foot wave' system for opening the tailgate as has been available in the latest generation Ford Kuga.
