Inaugural Jaguar Golf Classic at K Club

Six Nations medal winner, Ireland and Leinster scrumhalf Eoin Reddan was joined by broadcaster Ryan Tubridy to encourage Irish, US and European companies based in Ireland to participate in a sporting challenge this July, writes Trish Whelan.

The Inaugural Jaguar Golf Classic for the Irish Youth Foundation (IYF) will take place in the K Club in Straffan, Co Kildare on 4 July 2014. As the event takes place on Independence Day, and 2014 is a Ryder Cup year, the 26 teams taking part will be divided into Team USA and Team Europe, and compete Ryder Cup style.

All funds raised will go to supporting Irish Youth Foundation funded projects for at-risk and disadvantaged children in Ireland.

The teams will also attend a gala dinner that evening with entertainment by celebrity impersonator Oliver Callan.

Ryan and Eoin were pictured at the launch of the Jaguar Golf Classic for the Irish Youth Foundation with the new Jaguar F-TYPE and the RBS Six Nations Trophy.

Melanie McCourt, Jaguar Marketing Manager said they are proud to support the Irish Youth Foundation and are looking forward to the Jaguar Golf Classic in the K Club where their full range of Jaguar models will be on display, including the new F-TYPE Coupe.

Anyone interested in taking a team for the event can contact Sabina on 01 6766535/info@iyf.ie or log onto www.iyf.ie.
