Ride Out for Prems road warriors and SsangYong angels

The fourth annual Ride Out For Prems motorcycle tour of Ireland is currently taking place with a fleet of SsangYong SUV angel vehicles supporting over 30 charitable motorcyclists as they journey across the country delivering life-saving equipment for prematurely born babies, writes Trish Whelan.

Following months of fundraising, the challenge began yesterday, Thursday, at a meeting point on the M50 and will visit hospitals in Dublin, Waterford, Drogheda and Galway before returning to Dublin on Sunday 27th. They are delivering over €100,000 worth of life-saving equipment for prematurely born babies that the bikers and their supporters raised money for earlier in the year.

Joe Harris, CEO of SsangYong Motors Ireland says they are proud to support such a worthy cause. "The fund-raising has surpassed all expectations and countless lives will be saved as a direct result of these determined and generous bikers."
