Run wins Emer a Honda Jazz

Kerry native Emer Furlong became the lucky winner of a brand new Honda Jazz Si after her entry was picked from the Car Draw as part of the recent Wings for Life World Run.

The race took place in Killarney on the May Bank Holiday weekend, and vehicle sponsors Honda provided a Honda Jazz Si in a prize draw open to all entrants and athletes.

Emer, who ran over 15k in the race, never expected her name would be picked in the draw. She said "To win a new Honda on the day as well is just fantastic!"

Emmet Kavanagh, Marketing Manager at Universal Honda Ltd said the company would like to thank all who took part on the day and wished Emer the best of luck in her new Jazz.

Globally, the run raised over €3m for spinal cord injury research as 100 percent of all entry fees for the World Run go directly towards funding cutting edge spinal cord injury research and clinical studies through the work of the Wings For Life Foundation.

The Honda Jazz is available from €16,595 in a choice of highly-equipped trim levels, including the sporty new Jazz Si. The Jazz was recently named the Most Reliable Car in the 2014 Driver Power Survey.
