New Corsa comes with a new chassis, new generation engine and transmission technology, a totally new and high quality interior as well as a host of assistance systems. The Advanced Park Assist automatically steers during parking manoeuvres and there's also a Rear View Camera and Hill Start Assist.

Power is from new 1.0 three-cylinder turbo engines.

For those with active lifestyles there's a FlexFix bicycle carrier, exclusively offered by Opel.

Opel say the priority for their engineering development team was to provide Corsa customers with a driving experience comparable to larger, more expensive cars in terms of comfort and precision.

This fifth generation of Opel's bestseller will make its world premier in October at the Paris Motor Show. The car will be built in Zaragoza and Eisenach, Germany.

At 4 metres in length, Opel claim the car offers plenty of room for up to five occupants. will be offered in both five-door and three-door body formats.
