Flat Jockey, Joseph O'Brien chooses New Volvo XC60

Volvo is known for producing rugged capable All-Wheel-Drive vehicles, so Irish flat racing jockey Joseph O'Brien - who recently rode Australia to complete the Epsom-Curragh Derby double - is happy to choose the Volvo XC60 D4 AWD SE as his car of choice for 2014, provided by AutoBoland Volvo, writes Trish Whelan.

Joseph's car is a powerful and economical 2.4 diesel car benefiting from C02 emissions of 139g/km (Tax Band B2) and fuel consumption of 5.3 L/100km (that's 53.2mpg).

Joseph will act as brand ambassador for AutoBoland Waterford.

The Volvo XC60 D4 AWD Se trim level includes City Safety Electronic climate control, cruise control, leather steering wheel, rain sensor, rear park assist, power operated tailgate, auto dimming rear view mirror, a high performance audio sound system with Bluetooth and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Joseph says he is 'absolutely thrilled with my new Volvo SC60'. He has been driving the car since January and says it is perfect for his lifestyle.

AutoBoland has been the Volvo dealer in the South East for almost 35 years and their Sales Manager Pat Drea says the range of vehicles, including the 4WD XC models 'are very compatible with the equestrian way of life'. He wished Joseph, and all his team at Ballydoyle Racing, continued success.
