The new generation Skoda Fabia, to debut at the Paris Motor Show in October, will give up to 17 percent better fuel consumption, according to Skoda, writes Brian Byrne.
The car will appear with four petrol and three diesel engines, all EU6-compatible. They will include a new 3-cylinder 1.4 diesel engine with a number of power output options. A Greenline version with emissions of 82g/km will arrive in late 2015.
The car will be up to 65kg lighter than the present one, depending on equipment.
