Honda has expanded its dealer network with the appointment of Galway Dealers, Motorpark, writes Trish Whelan.
This takes the total number of Honda dealerships in Ireland to 22.
One of the oldest motor dealerships in the country, Motorpark has been in business in Galway for 102 years and is a well-know name across the country thanks to many years of quality and professional service for their customers.
Based in modern showrooms on the Headford Road, Galway, Motorpark will offer a full range of sales, servicing and parts operations for Honda cars in the region with a team of 45 staff in the Dealership.
Other recent dealership appointments include Castle Garage in bray. In Dublin, Honda increased its presence in the west of the city with the high-profile location of Cranley Cars on the Naas Road. In Kildare, Fitzpatricks in Kildare town are the new home of Honda in the county. In the Southwest, T Sheils & Co have introduced Honda at both their Limerick and Ennis Dealerships. In Donegal, Highland Motors in Letterkenny are the new location for Honda in the North West.
Commenting on the expansion, Adrian Cole, Managing Director of Universal Honda Ltd said "Across Ireland, 2014 has seen strong growth for Honda with an increase of almost 40 percent in our sales so far this year.
