New Touran in autumn

This is Volkswagen's new generation Touran compact MPV which will go on sale in its first markets in the autumn, writes Brian Byrne.

The new vehicle will be longer than the current one and will have new engines which are up to 19 percent more economical, according to Volkswagen.

The maker also claims that both 5- and 7-seat versions will have the biggest luggage capacities in the car's class.
