Fiona Coghlan is Dacia Ireland Brand Ambassador

Fiona Coghlan who led the Irish Women's Rugby team to an historic Women's Grand Slam in 2013, has today been announced as the first brand ambassador for Dacia, writes Trish Whelan.

Fiona picked up the keys to her new Duster today and said she feels that we're still in good contention for the Six Nations Championship for both the men's and women's teams.

The IRFU has announced that it is bidding for the 2017 Women's World Cup and Fiona will play an important ambassador role in helping to bring the tournament to Ireland. Fiona was at the helm of the women's team when they sealed the historic victory over New Zealand during the 2014 World Cup, and is a maths and PE teacher.

Dacia will celebrate its third birthday this summer and has sold well over 5,000 Dacia sales to date. Its Duster has been given a facelift for 2015.

Fiona will use it on her travels around the country for work and rugby duties.

Welcoming her as a brand ambassador, Patrick Magee, Country Operations Manager, Dacia says she is 'a great example of hard work, perseverance and training and has become an icon for women's rugby and has really helped to increase the awareness of the game in Ireland."

The Dacia range is available from €99 per month, with up to five years' warranty.
