New i30 for Paris

These are the official pictures of the new Hyundai i30 which will get its public debut at the Paris Motor Show, writes Brian Byrne.

It features a new ‘cascading grille’ that will be an ongoing styling cue for the brand’s new products.

Engines will be 1.4 and 1.6 petrol and 1.6 diesels, depending on market. A turbocharged 1.0 will be added to the lineup later. There will be manual and automatic options.

The new dashboard will offer a choice of 5” or 6” touchscreen displays.
