Exclusive Mercedes-Maybach open-top at Los Angeles

Unveiled at a preview to today’s opening of the Los Angeles Auto Show, this is a new and limited edition convertible from the Mercedes-Maybach brand, writes Brian Byrne.

Just 300 copies of the €300,000 car will be produced and it follows the European premiere of the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 shown at Paris recently.

The Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Cabriolet is based on the open-top S-Class and is powered by a 630hp 6.0 V12.

Special materials and Mercedes-Maybach badging will highlight the exclusivity of the car, for which all the options available in the S-Class Cabriolet come as standard.
