A new sports sedan which will go on sale in Ireland in October has been revealed by Kia at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit,

The Stinger is based on the GT Concept previously shown at Frankfurt in 2011 and was designed in Frankfurt and developed to European driving tastes at the Nurburgring circuit.
A long wheelbase and coupe design will offer a sporty vehicle capable of carrying five adults and their luggage on long distance 'gran turismo' journeys as well as providing a very satisfying car for the enthusiastic driver.
The European debut will take place at Geneva in March, when powertrains and specifications for markets on this side of the Atlantic will be detailed.
