Opel's new small SUV, the Crossland X, appears in dealerships in Ireland this weekend, at a starting price of €21,995, writes Brian Byrne.
The car will join the Mokka X in the segment, but unlike that model it will not have an AWD option. Safety and connectivity options are available, including onboard WiFi.
A third SUV, the Grandland X, will come later in the year.
Both the Crossland X and the Grandland X are based on Peugeot vehicles from PSA Group, which recently bought Opel from GM. The collaboration on the new cars preceded that deal.
