Renault sets up used car standard scheme

Renault Ireland has set up a used cars standard called Selection for Renault and Dacia secondhand cars, writes Brian Byrne.

Under the scheme, participating dealers will give a minimum two years warranty and two years' roadside assistance for models up to six years old.

There's also a guarantee that dealers will exchange a car which develops an irreparable fault for one of equal value, if returned within 30 days or 1,000km, under the programme.

A special financing rate from Renault Bank of 4.9pc APR on PCP or HP will be available under Selection for cars purchased up to 31 October.
