The offer, branded EcoGrant, applies to all the group brands — Audi, SEAT, Skoda, Volkswagen cars and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
Owners of cars with engines in the Euro 1 to Euro 4 emissions ratings can avail of the offer, and their cars will be scrapped by Volkswagen to make sure they don't get back on the road.
The trade-in vehicle needs to have been owned by the customer for at least six months, and the new car ordered by the end of December 2017.
The biggest offer relates to the purchase of electric cars from the group, including the e-Golf and the Audi A3 e-tron.
