Environment minister goes electric for a week

Denis Naughten TD, Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment, is driving an electric Renault Zoe ZE 40 during the course of his normal duties this week, writes Brian Byrne, including between Dáil Éireann and his constituency of Roscommon-Galway.

The Renault Zoe has the longest range of any mainstream electric vehicle, which Renault estimates at up to 300km in real-world driving.
