A new schedule for 2018 from Irish Ferries includes a doubling of summer sailings to France with the introduction of new ferry WB Yeats, writes Brian Byrne.
The vessel is currently being built in Germany and will arrive in the middle of next summer.
Daily departures will be offered alternatively from Dublin and Rosslare ports.
There will also be an increase in autumn/winter sailings frequency, and an expansion in passenger, car and freight carrying capacities on the company’s prime Ireland–UK route between Dublin and Holyhead.
