The car made its public debut at Frankfurt Motor Show last September and is the third generation of the model.
It will be powered by a 280hp 1.8 engine developed with input from Renault Sport Racing.
The new Megane RS will also have four-wheel steering and a dual-clutch automatic will be an option for the model for the first time.
There will be a choice from two levels of chassis setup, sport for mostly on-road use, or Cup for owners who enjoy track days with their cars.
Pricing will be available closer to the on-sale date.
