Renault Group finished in fourth position overall at the start to the busy 182 registration period with a 10.1pc combined share of the new car and van markets for July, writes Trish Whelan.
Renault Clio and Dacia Sandero brought the Group to the number one spot in the busy B segment with a 15.pc share year to date, while the Captur remained on the podium taking up second position in the B-SUV segment for July. The spacious Grand Scenic is the best-selling medium MPV this year while the ZOE took joint second on the podium in the EV segment for July.
In the LCV market, Renault remained in third place on the podium for July with a 14.5pc share. Master finished the month as the number one large van, while the recently launched Kangoo ZE 33 remained in the stop spot as the best selling electric van. Trafic and Kangoo finished second and third in the medium and small an markets respectively.
The Group’s network of 28 dealerships around the country has offers on models registered by 31 August 2018 across its Renault and Dacia PC and LCV ranges.
July saw over €21.5 million lent to Renault and Dacia customers through Renault Bank.
