Seven cars compete for European Car of the Year 2019

While there have been quite a number of new cars introduced during this year, the seven cars now shortlisted for European Car of the Year 2019 by the 60 jurors are the Alpine A110 (sports car), the new Citroen C5 Aircross SUV, Ford Focus, Jaguar iPace, Kia Ceed, Mercedes-Benz A-Class, and the Peugeot 508, writes Trish Whelan.

The seven have been whittled down by the 60 jurors from a total of 38 candidates.
