New CLA premiered at Las Vegas

In the way such things are going, Mercedes-Benz has used the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas to roll out the world premiere of its latest CLA coupe, writes Brian Byrne.

The car features the latest evolution of the MB User Experience (MBUX) digital interface for driving information and control, now recognising gestures.

The CLA was first launched in 2013 and the company has sold 750,000 units to date in coupe and shooting brake formats.

Mercedes-Benz also showed its EQC in America for the first time, at the show, and presented its Urbanetic vision of city transportation.
