VW to resurrect dune buggy for Geneva

A fully electric 'buggy' in the ethos of the American dune buggies of the 60s and 70s will feature on the Volkswagen stand at the Geneva Motor Show in March, writes Brian Byrne.

The Beetle of that time was often the base of the dune buggy, made famous in California. This concept will be based on the MEB electric vehicle platform developed by Volkswagen.

The show vehicle will be a one-off.
