BMW announces plug-in hybrid 7 Series

BMW has revealed two plug-in hybrid versions of its flagship 7 Series, writes Brian Byrne.

Available in the spring, the 745e and 745Le xDrive will offer increased efficiency to owners.

In electric only mode, the cars will have a range of up to 59km, and can drive in electric only mode at up to 109km/h.
