SEAT has announced the arrival of the new eXC Kickscooter powered by Segway to the Irish market which will be available to order for participating SEAT retailers across the country, writes Trish Whelan.
This partnership between SEAT and Segway is in response to the growing demand for electric urban transport among commuters.
As part of its overall 192 sales campaign, SEAT here in Ireland will run a special Open Week this week to 22 June which will boast considerable savings across the SEAT range as well as a free electric scooter for those who place an order on a SEAT model during this Open Week.
Offers available include 0pc PCP finance from Volkswagen Financial Services on selected SEAT models including its SUV range of Arona, Ateca and Tarraco. Three-year service plans are also available across the SEAT range from €12.99 per month and up to a €2,000 trade-in bonus on selected models.
The eXS Kickscooter has a travel range of 25kms on the one charge and its maximum recharging time three and a half hours. The electric scooter’s top speed is 25 km/hr and it weights 12.5 kilos. Its 8-inch diameter solid rubber wheels help prevent punctures and its front and rear suspensions give it a smooth handling.
It is also equipped with a password protected app that allows the user to control the front and rear LED lights, customise ambient light, an LCD screen, cruise control setting and an anti-theft deterrent.
The eXS KickScooter is available at SEAT retailers nationwide now with an RRP of €599.
