Volkswagen's Snapshot photo competition running again

Volkswagen Ireland is running its annual Snapshot photo competition again this year with proceeds going to the Alone charity for the homeless, writes Brian Byrne.

It's the fourth successive holding of the competition, and 12 of the entries will be used on the 2021 Volkswagen Snapshot Calender.

Photo enthusiasts can upload their photos to Instagram using the #VWSnapshot tag and a category hashtag. For this year these are #Smartphone, #Nighttime, #Animals, #Garden, #Water and #Volkswagen.

Prizes include a Canon EOS 90D camera for the overall winner, with vouchers, a pocket camera, GoPro, Weber barbecue, Airpods, and a Fitbit.
