The new all-electric Vivaro-e van from Opel has now arrived in Ireland at a starting price of €36,895, writes Trish Whelan. The van has a range of up to 330km on a full charge and offers a payload of up to 1,226kg.
The standard battery has a range of up to 230km, and can get an 80pc recharge in just 30 minutes. The longer range version has a larger-capacity battery.
The Vivaro-e is available in two lengths and two trims — the standard equipment includes 6-way adjustable driver seat with armrest, passenger bench seat with storage, laminated windscreen, bulkhead, two side sliding doors, ESP, hill assist, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, 180° opening solid rear doors, cruise control and speed limiter, a spare wheel, daytime running lamps and DAB radio.
