Ford Ireland is offering a special range of incentives on its commercial vehicles range for the 212 registration period, writes Brian Byrne. CV sales are on a growth trajectory and the initiative is aimed at maintaining Ford's market share lead in Ireland.
The deals include a mix of price savings on Fiesta Van and the full Transit range, with offers of price cuts from €1,500 to €8,000 depending on model. A special 0pc APR on the Ranger Wildtrak is also available, or a saving of up to €4,700.
Describing the offers as 'enticing', Ford Market Lead in Ireland John Manning said huge boom in online shopping as a direct result of the pandemic and the consequent growth in home deliveries was one factor that helped to buoy up sales of vans over the period.
"We have seen that continue into 2021," he added. Ford's Ranger is the top-selling pickup in Ireland.
