This is a new pickup from Ford in America, the Maverick, which will slot in below the Ranger, writes Brian Byrne.
It's a unibody vehicle with front wheel drive, with a standard petrol hybrid powertrain, and it will retail in the US for $19,995.
There's talk of there also being a fully-electric version, to complement the upcoming F150 Lightning.
We think it would be a runaway success in Ireland, but Ford tell us there are no plans to bring the Maverick to Europe.
