Skoda is adding an elegant coupe to its ENYAQ iV range, writes Trish Whelan.
The line-up will also include an all-electric RS variant.
Depending on specification, the ENYAQ Coupe has a range of up to 545km (for the Coupe iV80 version) and fast-charging capability making it suitable for travelling long distances.
There is a choice of two battery sizes, rear- or all-wheel drive, and four power outputs.
Power outputs starts at 132 W with the RWD Coupe iV 60 equipped with a 62 kWh battery.
The ENYAQ Coupe RS iV is the first-ever all-electric Skoda RS, delivering up to 220 kW and a maximum torque of 460 Nm. It can sprint from 0-100km/h in 6.5 secs and has a top speed of 180 km/h - 20 km/h more than any other variant of the new coupe and is available exclusively in Mamba Green paintwork.
John Donegan, director Skoda Ireland says the ENYAQ coupe will be available to order in Ireland from this autumn. Prices and specifications will be revealed closer to the time.
The original ENYAQ iV, the brand’s first fully electric vehicle, was revealed back in 2020, with the first Irish sales pre-booked online by way of a €1,000 deposit.
John Donegan says demand continues to outstrip supply for this model, so early ordering is still advised.
